After being overseas for so many years you tend to lose track of the stuff you have especially when one accumulates so much crap over the years. So when I got back from Australia, Sherry passed me my old Oris big crown pointer date. While admiring the watch I dug deeper into the watch box and found an old receipt dating back to 1998.... wow. Yep, I actually bought this watch 10 years ago, slowly saving up my meager army allowance to finally being able to afford this watch. Quality of the watch is still amazing, still keeps time and more importantly still looking like a classic... despite its age.
Here are some of it's specifications;
Movement:
Oris 754, base SW 200 Case: Multi-piece stainless steel case, rose gold plated top ring
Dial: Silver guilloche dial
Power Reserve: 38 hrs
Vibrations: 28’800 A/h, 4 Hz
Last but not least, the watch.......
